About

I've been a painter for more than 60 years now and have exhibited in many venues throughout the U.S. in both juried shows and invitationals, including Art of the State at the Arvada Center, and Watercolor USA in various small museums. I am a member of the Watercolor USA Honorary, The Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Honorary and was honored as distinguished Alumni Artist at Ohio Wesleyan University. My Process:

I start with many intuitive and gestural marks and then search for my image, deleting non-essential parts. I see myself as an archaeologist on a dig.
